[treat ticket]

I got a new calling - Primary secretary. I'm excited. I have always loved Primary.

I made these Birthday treat tickets. The child's name goes on the dotted line and they have a chance to get used to visiting with the bishop.

I also made assignment bracelets:

I'm going to get some cute stickers so that these can easily be wrapped on the children's wrists.

[I am with you]

Sharing my favorite art of Jesus Christ (painted by Minerva Teichert) and some of my favorite scriptures of Him with my Sunday School class. All of these scriptures testify that the Savior is with us, in our midst.

[Jesus' voice]

This is the scripture from this week's reading that has been on my mind a lot. When Jesus spoke at this time, it was to people who had planned to kill his servants. This small verse in the Book of Mormon is a great lesson to all of us. We need to have mild, soft voices when we speak to people around us. Especially when we talk to our children.

Elder Jeffrey R. Holland's talk "The Tongue of Angels" from April 2007 General Conference goes well with this scripture.

1 Kings 19:11-12
"And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the Lord. And, behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake: and after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.

[bulletin board decorations]

Recently I was asked to decorate one of the bulletin boards in the hallway of our church building.
I thought it turned out quite nicely.
I made the flowers from paper circles using this tutorial (I just taped them on the cardboard circle):

[quotes on women]

I'm making some quote cards for our Relief Society party and thought I'd share them here too.

I love how the gospel has brought me a better perspective on being a woman. I know my role is just as important as any man's. I love that my desire to be a mother is respected and honored. I love how our Church leaders make me feel valued, appreciated and loved.

Men and women don't need to be the same to be equal. I can have joy in being a woman. The softening touch of women is so needed in today's hard world!

(To use the images, just right click and copy them, then paste them into a Microsoft Word document.)

[more charity hearts]

Here are the next CHARITY HEARTS.

Just copy and paste the photos into a Microsoft Word document and print them out on card stock to be used in Family Home Evening or any other lesson.

[banner]

A free banner to print out. My gift to you.

You can make the banner as large or small as you wish. I formatted three columns on a Microsoft Word document = 9 flags on a page (margins: 0.3"). You can print these on colorful card stock too.

Just print out the flags, use a paper cutter to cut them out, fold the top edge under, snip away the little triangles that show from behind, tape the flags to some cotton yarn. I like my banners simple but you can embellish the banner as much as you'd like.
I use painter's tape to attach these on the wall so the paint doesn't peel off.

Bonus: President Hinckley's 6 B's + his extra 3 B's. I was trying to find the source for the extra B's but wasn't successful. But here is the talk about the 6 B's:
